What to Expect when You Visit Noosa Heads Club

Guests regularly visit Noosa Heads Club meetings and are warmly welcomed.

Some guests are visiting from other Clubs, maybe other States and Countries.

Others may be either addressing our club, or considering joining Rotary - coming along simply to meet our team and get a feel for Rotary in general.

Below is the format for a 'usual' evening meeting.

6.00  :  Members start arriving at Tait Duke Community Cottage, Earl Street, Tewantin

6.20  :  Guests attend the Welcoming Table to receive a visitors card.

6.20  :  If you choose to have dinner please pay at Welcoming Table.

6.20  :  Raffle tickets are available from our wandering member
              $2 for 1 ticket;  $5 for 3 tickets. Cash prizes.

6.25  :  Members and Guests make their way to tables.

6.30  :  Meeting commences.

6.30  :  Welcome to members and visitors by Chairperson
             who proposes a Toast to Australia and Rotary International.

6.35  :  Sergeant Introduces our President.

6.35  :  President Welcomes members and guests.

6.40  :  Chairperson introduces Guest Speaker.

7.00  :  Questions for Guest Speaker and vote of thanks.

7.05  :  Dinner is served.

7.20  :  President updates members and guests with Club events and programs
               - Club Directors and Committee Announcements
               - Fines session. A bit of fun recognising noteworthy happenings.

7.30 :  Raffle Drawn by a Guest.

7.35 :  President thanks speaker(s); visiting Rotarians & guests.

7.40 :  Meeting closes.

Following the meeting many members and guests will mingle for fellowship and networking.
