What to Expect when You Visit Noosa Heads Rotary

Visitors and Guests are warmly welcomed to Noosa Heads Rotary club meetings.

Some visitors are Rotarians from around Queensland, interstate or overseas while others are local residents or friends of members just wanting to get a feel for how Rotary works.

Below is a typical Lunch time meeting agenda.

12.00: Fellowship at the Villa Noosa Hotel, Mary Street, Noosaville.

  • Visitors and guiests pick up your Welcome card
  • If you choose to have lunch, pay at the Welcome table
  • Raffle tickets are available from our wandering member ($2 for 1 ticket or $5 for 3 tickets) Cash prize.

12.30: Chairperson calls to order, introduces President.

  • Rotary Grace
  • Loyal Toast
  • Rotary International
  • Introduce President        

President welcomes Rotarians, Visiting Rotarians, and Guests

  • Anounces messages, apologies, comments etc.
  • Hands meeting back to Chairperson

12.40: Chairperson calls on Program Coordinator or introduces Guest Speaker.

  • Guest Speaker (15 minutes)
  • Questions (5 mins)
  • Chairperson or Program Coordinator thanks Guest Speaker.

1.00: Chairperson or President calls for club updates

  • Directors reports
  • Secretary’s report and correspondence
  • Treasurer’s report
  • International, District and Committee report
  • General Business

1.15: Chairperson introduces Sergeant

  • Fine session
  • Heads and Tails
  • Raffle

1.30: President announces Rosters for next week

  • Thanks visiting Rotarians, Guests and Visitors for coming
  • Announces next week’s program
  • Closes meeting.

Following the meeting members and guests mingle for fellowship and networking.
